Raina (played by Ruth Negga in Agents of SHIELD) is a character with a mysterious past and motivations. She's first seen allied with the false Clairvoyant and Ian Quinn, working for Centipede to utilize other people with different gifts and enhancements; she's a skilled manipulator and con artist, an eternal flirt, a capable scientist and student of human nature. She also really likes flowers, but she doesn't generally cut them so much as enjoy them as a motif. After a lifelong search for the mythological blue angels her grandmother raised her on stories of, Raina discovered a chance for terrigenesis and underwent the process, activating her Inhuman powers. In this journal, she's played prior to her Inhuman transformation, though if you really fancy dealing with her prescience that can be written in sans spikiness. Her relationships with most other characters are shaky at best, given her changeable nature and self-serving tendencies, but she plays well with others, especially when they too exist in a moral gray area.

- icons will be different post-Raina's transformation, and good ones will likely not be available for some time
- I know nothing about where canon is taking her and how she might be affected, either physically or emotionally, and while I'm up for exploring it I very much don't want to get too ahead of myself and get set thinking something that is eventually contradicted
- a fair amount of what I do with her is AU anyway, and AUs are often better suited to, ah, less inhuman icons
- at least until the poor dear comes to terms with things, she's asked me if at least this version of her can stay pretty (and hopeful, and happy enough, and not in constant pain) and as I don't particularly enjoy torturing muses for the sake of it I've agreed
